My Secret Talent

When I was little I took piano lessons for about a year, but ditched it when I discovered my love for sports. After my senior year of basketball ended, I got back into playing the piano. My friend Kayla taught me how to play a few songs, and then I took lessons again for 3 months or so. I got too busy with school and just started to teach myself how to play. I love piano, even though I don't play it all that well, and I have no real technique, can't read music, that sort of thing. I just play by ear and do what feels right with my hands. I started writing my own songs the year back in 2005 when my sister was struggling with cancer, it was a way for my to get out emotions, and the first song I wrote was my christmas present to her during the year she was doing chemo. I kept writing songs after that, although I haven't written anything in almost two years. Anyway, here are a couple I've done, for your viewing enjoyment.

Stace! I was actually just thinking about your piano awesomeness this morning when I heard Five for Fighting's new song "Chances"--it has a gorgeous piano part that you should totally rip! Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9FOvbiYEtc
