Family BBQ

Here are some pictures from the family BBQ we had the day before Jare Bear and I got married. It was so much fun to get all of our family from both sides together for some good food and fun. We went to this cool park in STG that had a big playground and splash pad that the kids could play in, I think they had a really good time. It was also the first time that I met members of Jared's extended family, so that was really cool for me, they are all awesome! Anyway, here are some pictures from that. . . the actual wedding day pics are coming soon! By the way, these happen to be in reverse order because I am clueless when it comes to blogging!

Well Jared and I are officially married now! It was a beautiful day filled with awesome events. Haha, yesterday I had a friend ask me if it was the day of my dreams, and honestly I didn't know what to answer. I've never been the type of girl to dream about my wedding day, or even play dress up (I was more of a GI Joe fan!) so I didn't really have many expectations for the actual day. It ended up being super fun though, and I'm just so happy to be married to such a wonderful guy. Love you babe! Anyway, I've been slacking with the whole picture posting thing, but I promise to have some up here as soon as I find the time! 

Our New Apartment!

 Jared and I were very lucky to find a sweet apartment in Provo that we will be living in until we are both done with school! We had been looking around for a couple of weeks, and the night before we were going to sign the contract to another apartment, we went and took a look at this one and decided it would be the perfect place for us! It's a basement apartment underneath a chiropractic clinic about 6 blocks from campus. What we love about it is that it doesn't feel like a basement apartment. It has high ceilings, and the large window in the family room lets in a ton of light. We basically love it!!  Luckily my parents were getting some new basement furniture so they gave us their cast offs. . . we are so grateful! Here are some pictures. . .

Jared's First Post!

Well, I have been coaxed into posting a blog update.

Things have been rolling along fairly smoothly. Now that the semester is done we basically have nothing to do. We are just counting down the days. . . We are getting really excited, but also very anxious.

My parents came down for graduation because Blake and Mikell graduated this semester, and are now moving on to the real life. Real jobs. I wish. We spent the weekend hanging out as a family. Last Thursday we went to dinner with my parents and had a fun time. On Saturday we spent the afternoon up in Kaysville with family. First we met my mom, dad, and grandma at Gardner's Village because my mom is an antique shopaholic, but that was ok because Stace and I found some sweet red picture frames that we are excited to put some pictures in. By the time we got done eating lunch and looking around it started raining hard and we left to go to my grandma's house in Centerville where we looked at funny pictures from my mom's childhood, and my own. It was fun! Stacie totally thought I was so good lookin' in high school! Oh yeah!

After we got done looking at pictures we headed to my sister and brother-in-laws to see their family. We had fun playing with the kids there. They just got a new trampoline, and we playing various games like house, crack the egg, and kitties. They wore Stacie out by the time we went to the park and played pirates. It was pretty fun, but I guess thats a good thing they like her.

Everything else is going pretty good. We decided that we are going to paint our new apartment this week, so hopefully our landlord doesn't object.
